About FootballTested
FootballTested helps players, parents and coaches choose football gear that fits the player, the position and the league rules.
Football gear has strict rules: helmets must meet the NOCSAE standard, ball sizes change with age, and flag leagues ban some cleats. FootballTested explains those rules and reviews specific gear for tackle, flag and 7v7.
We cover protective gear, cleats and gloves, footballs and training equipment, and flag and 7v7 gear, and we work with brands to offer reader discount codes. We do not cover NFL news, fantasy or betting. Soccer gear lives on our sister site SoccerTested.
